Unlike classic research studies, patients can also be reached and accompanied in their everyday lives with the disease and therapy using the PatientConcept mobile app. Disease and therapy-relevant data as Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO) can be regularly and anonymously queried from study participants outside the clinical context and transmitted to the research centers.

The digitally collected study data is available to the research center in real time for analysis via the portal. Mit dieser digitalen Methode können mehr aufschlussreichere Daten zur schnellen Abbildung von Krankheits- und Therapieverläufen zur Verfügung gestellt und ausgewertet werden.

The PatientConcept system thus opens up completely new impulses and potential for research, including for rare, chronic diseases.
